Age Requirements

• Candidate must be at least 18 years of age or older by the date of the preliminary auditions.

Proof of Identification

• Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders travel internationally throughout the season. A valid passport will be required on or before June 3, 2024

International Applicants

• When applying for any type of visa, please keep in mind that the Miami Dolphins do not sponsor work visas for international candidates. Please work through the US consulate/embassy in your home country to obtain the proper visa for audition travel and be mindful of the extended timeline should you be selected as a Miami Dolphins Cheerleader.

Location Requirements

• If selected, must live in or relocate to South Florida and have means of transportation.

General Information

• Applications will require two (2) photos, one (1) full length body & one (1) headshot.
• Preliminary & Semi-Final Auditions will be held at the Baptist Health Training Facility, May 19, 2024
• Registration begins promptly at 8 a.m. Auditions begin at 9:30 a.m.
• Preliminary competition will consist of a short introduction and group freestyle round of sixty (60) seconds. There are no specific movements that must be executed at preliminaries. Freestyle dance should be a blend of hip-hop/jazz that incorporates movements that you feel comfortable with technically.
• Candidates that will be advancing into the Semi-finals round will be announced immediately following the preliminary round.
• Semi-finals will consist of a sideline style choreography combo and a shortened version of the kick line and will be auditioned immediately after learning.
• Candidates that will be advancing to Auditions Boot Camp and Finals will be announced at the conclusion of the semi-final round.
• Audition Boot Camp will be Tuesday, May 21 through Thursday, May 23 where candidates will learn an opening and closing number, Finals Audition combo, & kick line. Individual interviews will also be conducted during the week.
• Finals will be held on Sunday, June 2. Candidates that have advanced to this round need to have prepared a solo performance that showcases their best style, performance, and talent. This performance is to be 1 minute in length. Following the solo performances, there will be a short break before the small group round where candidates will perform the combo they learned at boot camp and kick line.
• Candidates that will be invited into training camp will be announced at the conclusion of the final round of auditions. More details regarding training camp schedules, locations, etc. will be distributed to those who have advanced.

Basic Eligibility

• You must be available to attend all home games, special appearances throughout the season, and all team practices.
• Practices are three to four times a week and begin immediately following Final Auditions.
• Attendance at additional rehearsals for special events
• You must be able to attend all photo shoots, media days, training camp, rehearsals & games.
• If selected as a Miami Dolphins Cheerleader, you may not cheer for any other professional or collegiate team.

Compensation

• There is a pay schedule for rehearsals, home games, appearances & shows.
• Employment as a Miami Dolphins Cheerleader is part-time.
