The Miami Dolphins have selected Tommy Dubinski and Lydia Dubinski as their 2025 Fan of the Year. Lydia Dubinski has been a season ticket member since 1988 and has been attending games for decades.
Over the years, Lydia has shared her love for the Dolphins at family gatherings and made sure the Dolphins fandom was part of their family legacy. In 2025, she passed down her season ticket membership to her son Tommy due to her battle with dementia and Alzheimer's.
Tommy is an avid fan and continues to stay involved with the Miami Dolphins community. He is currently a firefighter paramedic in Pompano Beach, Florida, and is known for his courage and energetic personality.
The Fan of the Year initiative, developed by the NFL in collaboration with all 32 clubs, aims to celebrate extraordinary fandom and showcase outstanding team enthusiasm. This is the first time the NFL has allowed a pair to be nominated, making this the first mom and son duo for the Miami Dolphins.
During the first quarter of the Week 9 Dolphins vs. Ravens game on Thursday Night Football, Tommy was surprised with the announcement. The fire chief and firefighters from Station 114 were on field to support him during this special moment while fans cheered throughout the stadium.

Tommy and Lydia have been loyal fans and show their love for the game and team through generations. As a father of two, Tommy is already raising young Dolphins fans with his wife Talena.
Throughout the years, Lydia and Tommy have made many memories at Hard Rock Stadium and the Orange Bowl wearing their aqua and orange with pride. Lydia's favorite song is the well-known Miami Dolphins Fight song which continues to connect their family today.
Fans can vote for Lydia and Tommy to be the Ultimate Fan of the Year on the NFL website.
