As expected, safety T.J. McDonald will make his first start in a Dolphins uniform Monday night against the Carolina Panthers.
McDonald practiced for the first time this week after sitting out the first eight games of the regular season while serving an NFL suspension. McDonald will start at safety alongside Reshad Jones.
Larsen in lineup: Veteran Ted Larsen will make his Dolphins regular season debut against Carolina and will start at left guard. As expected, Jesse Davis will make his first start at right tackle after starting the past two games at left guard.
So the Dolphins' new-look offensive line will feature Laremy Tunsil, Larsen, center Mike Pouncey, right guard Jermon Bushrod and Davis.
All good to go: Every player on the Dolphins injury report leading up to the game will be active Monday night.
That includes safety Michael Thomas, wide receiver Jakeem Grant, linebacker Mike Hull, cornerback Bobby McCain and running back Damien Williams, all of whom were listed as questionable Saturday.
Williams starts: Williams, who missed two days of practice last week because of illness, again will get the start at running back.
Kenyan Drake again is expected to share the work load at running back, and offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen said Friday he was hoping to also get some work for Senorise Perry.
Inactive info: The list of Dolphins inactives QB David Fales, CB Jordan Lucas, CB Torry McTyer, LB Stephone Anthony, G Isaac Asiata, newly signed tackle Zach Sterup and WR Rashawn Scott.
Along with Larsen, defensive tackle Vincent Taylor also will be in uniform after being inactive against the Oakland Raiders eight days ago.
This and that: Special teams standout Walt Aikens, who was born in Charlotte, will serve as a game captain along with season captains Mike Pouncey, Kenny Stills, Ndamukong Suh, Cameron Wake and Michael Thomas. … The Dolphins will be wearing white jerseys with aqua pants.
