Rookie defensive tackle Davon Godchaux, who missed the game against the Denver Broncos because of a knee injury, was back at practice Thursday.
According to the first injury report of the week, Godchaux practiced on a limited basis, as did center Mike Pouncey (hip).
Seven players did not practice Thursday, although Cameron Wake's absence was not injury-related.

The others who sat out were G Jermon Bushrod (foot), QB Matt Moore (foot), DT Ndamukong Suh (knee), CB Cordrea Tankersley (ankle/shoulder), S Michael Thomas (knee) and RB Damien Williams (shoulder).
New England had four players sit out practice Thursday, including quarterback Tom Brady (Achilles). Brady also sat out the first practice before the first New England-Miami game two weeks ago.

Also sitting out Thursday were T Marcus Cannon (ankle), LB Kyle Van Noy (calf) and DL Deatrich Wise Jr. (foot).
Nine players were listed as limited: CB Malcom Butler (ankle), LB Marquis Flowers (knee), DL Trey Flowers (rib), CB Stephon Gilmore (ankle), WR Chris Hogan (shoulder), DB Brandon King (hamstring), CB Eric Rowe (groin), WR Matthew Slater (hamstring) and T LaAdrian Waddle (ankle).
Linebacker Trevor Reilly (concussion) was listed as a full participant.
