Wallace most recently coached at Auburn in 2025, where he served as assistant tight ends coach.
Before coaching at the collegiate level, Wallace spent time with the Houston Texans as an offensive quality control coach for two seasons (2023-24) and in multiple football operations roles prior to that.
The Texans made the playoffs and claimed consecutive AFC South division titles in both of Wallace's seasons on the coaching staff.
In 2023, the Texans' offense ranked 12th in the NFL in total offense, averaging 342.4 yards per game and seventh in passing offense (245.5). The offense also had the second-most passing plays of more than 25 yards (41) in the NFL and the fewest turnovers (14).
He first joined the Texans in 2021 as a video assistant supporting player skill development. In 2022, he served as the football strategy and participation lead, working closely with the coaches, analytics staff and the scouting department in various projects supporting team strategy and decision-making.
Wallace began his coaching career at the prep level in Alabama, where he spent seven seasons. He served as the wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator for Hewitt-Trussville High School (2018-21), the wide receivers coach for Deshler High School (2017) and the offensive coordinator for Hatton High School (2015-17). Wallace also taught English while coaching in his first role at Deshler.
A Tuscumbia, Ala. native, Wallace earned a bachelor's degree in English and education from the University of North Alabama in 2014 before earning his master's degree in educational leadership and administration from the University of Alabama in 2019. He and his wife, Madison, have two sons, Hudson and Noah.
