Brent Callaway joined the Miami Dolphins in 2025 as a strength & conditioning coach.
Prior to joining the Dolphins, Callaway served as vice president of performance at EXOS, where he held various roles supporting athlete performance for 17 years (2008-2025). He served as performance director of pro sports from 2017-2022 and performance director of international from 2011-2017. Callaway first joined the organization as a performance manager in 2008. Throughout his time at EXOS, Callaway worked with professional athletes in football, baseball, track and field, tennis, boxing and soccer. He oversaw the organization's NFL Combine preparation program, as well as offseason programs for the NFL, MLB and NBA. Callaway helped prepare more than 500 athletes in the pre-NFL Draft process at EXOS, which yielded more than 50 first-round picks and 20 top-10 picks.
His first role in athletic performance was as sports performance director at Velocity Sports Performance (2003-08).
Callaway was a member of the track and field team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1998-2002), where he earned his degree in exercise and sport science. He and his wife, Caroline, have two children – their daughter, Bailey, and son, Ty.
