Daniel Sillman is the Chief Executive Officer of Ross Sports & Entertainment, which includes the Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium, the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, the Precision Drive Club and the Miami Open presented by Itaú.
As CEO, a role to which he was named in August 2026, Sillman oversees one of the most dynamic sports and entertainment portfolios in the world. Sillman has also worked closely alongside Chairman and Owner Stephen M. Ross for more than a decade on many of the enterprise's most significant initiatives and growth opportunities.
Most notably, Sillman chaired the organizational committee that conducted the search process for the Dolphins' new head coach and general manager following the 2025 season. Led by Sillman, the team identified Jeff Hafley and Jon-Eric Sullivan from the Green Bay Packers as the right leaders to set a new foundation for the franchise. Sillman also established a new leadership structure in football, with Hafley, Sullivan and Executive Vice President of Football Operations Brandon Shore reporting directly to him.
Sillman has also made significant contributions to the business growth of the enterprise. In 2024, Sillman led the process to attract new, limited investments in the organization, which resulted in a landmark deal to Ares Management funds and Brooklyn Nets owners Joe Tsai and Oliver Weisberg. One year later, Sillman helped facilitate the sale of an additional 1% stake by Bin Lin, the co-founder and vice chairman of Xiaomi, at a record-setting valuation of $12.5 billion, the highest in professional sports globally. Additionally, Sillman executed the acquisition of a 45% stake in the Miami Open tennis tournament in 2025, which the organization now co-owns and operates with MARI. These investments have allowed Ross to support continued growth and innovation in South Florida.
In his role as CEO of Ross Sports & Entertainment, Sillman leads the executive leadership team which oversees the operations for all verticals of business, including EVP/Hard Rock Stadium Operations Todd Boyan, EVP/Chief Financial Officer Chris Clements, EVP/Chief Revenue Officer Jason Green and President of the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix Katharina Nowak.
Sillman also serves as Executive Chairman, co-founder and majority owner of Relevent, one of the world's leading privately-owned sports and media rights companies. Under his leadership, Relevent has become the premier strategic and commercial partner to many of the world's most prominent soccer properties, securing approximately $10 billion a year in media, sponsorship and licensing rights agreements on behalf of organizations including UEFA, the Premier League, LALIGA, the Bundesliga and the English Football League. Sillman also serves as Executive Chairman of Relevent Football Partners, the dedicated entity responsible for the global commercialization of UEFA men's club competitions.
In 2018, Sillman facilitated a landmark, first-of-its-kind 20-year deal with LALIGA that established a joint venture with Relevent to promote the Spanish league in North America. Sillman negotiated LALIGA's record-breaking media rights deal with ESPN in 2021, which, at the time, marked the largest football media rights deal ever in the US and Canada. He also spearheaded the media rights negotiation and sale of LALIGA's rights in Mexico and Central America to Televisa Sky Sports in 2021. The following year, Sillman led Relevent to secure UEFA's men's club competitions media rights for the United States.
Sillman went on to help Relevent land exclusive EFL fixture distribution rights throughout North, Central, and South America in 2024 and, later that year, struck a 17-year agreement to represent the Bundesliga in the sale of its media rights in North, Central, and South America as well as the Caribbean. In 2025, he led Relevent's efforts to pursue and win a historic mandate to represent the UEFA men's club competitions media rights globally for the 2027–2033 cycle. The deal represented a seismic shift in the global sport business landscape.
In 2026, Sillman helped broker a multi-year deal between Bundesliga and Versant Media's USA Sports and NBCUniversal's Telemundo as the league's first U.S. media rights agreements, making the German league available in 80 million U.S. homes across English, Spanish, linear and digital. Relevent also played a critical role in helping Bundesliga secure its first U.S. sponsorship agreement with Polymarket, a critical step in furthering the league's growth in the market.
Sillman began his career founding and operating Compass Management, a multi-family office for professional athletes, which he later sold to FFO in 2015. Prior to joining Relevent, he sourced, structured and executed new investment opportunities as the Director of Business Development at RSE Ventures — a private investment firm owned by Ross. At RSE Ventures, Sillman led efforts focused on mid-cap sport businesses such as Student Sports, which owns and operates Elite 11 Football and Area Code Baseball, among others. He then transitioned to Relevent, where he worked to bring El Clásico, a football match between Spanish rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid, to the US for the first time and outside of Spain for the second time in 100 years. Shortly after the Miami-based El Clásico in 2017, Sillman was named CEO of Relevent and began to lead the company's transition from a live events company to the global media rights powerhouse it is today.
For these efforts, Sillman has been named to several sport business awards lists, including Leaders in Sport's Leaders Under 40 (2022), Sports Business Journal's Forty Under 40 (2019), and Forbes Sports' 30 Under 30 (2018). He co-led the development of high-profile companies such as fast-growing youth enrichment platform Rocket Youth. He also serves on the board of directors of RISE — a national non-profit that educates and empowers the sport community to eliminate racial discrimination, champion social justice, and improve race relations — and is a member of the board of trustees for the UEFA Foundation for Children. Additionally, Sillman served as a member of the FIFA World Cup 26™ Miami Host Committee Board of Directors and currently serves on the board of the Miami Open presented by Itaú and Transmit, a leader in sports technology innovation.
