Prior to joining Miami, Hunt served as the strength and conditioning assistant with the Green Bay Packers for two seasons. He assisted with the day-to-day responsibilities of the comprehensive strength and conditioning program with an emphasis on working with the combo group that includes linebackers, tight ends, running backs, quarerbacks and specialists.

Hunt joined the Packers after serving as a strength and conditioning assistant for the Cincinnati Bengals for five seasons (2019-23). Throughout his time with the Bengals, Hunt helped lead the physical development of new and young players and assisted multiple key starters as they returned to play after sustaining significant injuries, including quarterback Joe Burrow. After suffering a season-ending knee injury in his rookie season in 2020, Burrow started all 16 regular-season games in 2021 on his way to earning the NFL Comeback Player of the Year from The Associated Press and leading the Bengals to an AFC North Division title, an AFC championship and a berth in Super Bowl LVI. In 2022, Hunt helped Burrow return to form in time for the regular-season opener after an emergency appendix surgery sidelined him for three weeks during training camp.

Prior to the Bengals, Hunt spent the 2018 season at the University of Illinois, serving as an assistant strength coach. He was part of a staff that helped the Fighting Illini average 244.2 yards per game on the ground, which ranked No. 2 in the Big Ten.

Hunt began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, Fresno State, where he worked with the Bulldogs' defensive line in 2016-17.

Hunt was a defensive end at Fresno State for five seasons (2011-15), playing in 47 career games with 27 starts. He served as a team captain for the Bulldogs as a senior in 2015.

A Stamford, Connecticut native, Hunt moved to California as a senior in high school and attended Mater Dei High School where he was named an Orange County All-Star at defensive end. Hunt earned his bachelor's degree at Fresno State. He later completed his master's degree in health and wellness. Hunt and his wife, Michelle, have two sons, Jackson and Titus, and a daughter, Brooklyn.
