Dolphins Make Roster Moves

MIAMI – The Miami Dolphins today announced they have placed defensive end William Hayeson injured reserve.

 Hayesplayed in 10 games this season, recording 19 tackles (14 solo) and one sack. He recorded a sack in his first game with the Dolphins, bringing down L.A. Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers on a third down in Miami's season-opening victory. Hayes is in his 10th NFL season and also played for Tennessee (2008-11) and the St. Louis/Los Angeles Rams (2012-16). He originally entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick (103rd overall) by Tennessee in the 2008 NFL draft.
