Safety Reshad Jones will be in the lineup against the Denver Broncos despite being added to the injury report Saturday.
Jones, was listed as questionable with a back injury, will take his place alongside T.J. McDonald.
Godchaux out: Rookie defensive tackle Davon Godchaux will miss the game against Denver because of a knee injury.
Godchaux practice Wednesday and Thursday, but appeared on the injury report Friday after he didn't practice. He was listed as questionable on the final injury report of the week.
Drake starts: Running back Kenyan Drake will make his second consecutive start at running back, with Damien Williams missing the game because of a shoulder injury.
Drake and Williams both started against the New England Patriots last Sunday when the Dolphins opened the game with two running backs.
Perry in: Drake will be one of three running backs active for the Dolphins, along with Senorise Perry and rookie De'Veon Smith.
Perry was listed as questionable Friday after spending most of the week in the concussion protocol. Smith, an undrafted free agent from Michigan, will be making his NFL debut.
Lineup notes: Quarterback David Fales will serve as the backup for the third time this season, but for the first time with Jay Cutler as the starter. Fales backed up Matt Moore, who will sit out the Denver game because of a foot injury, against Baltimore and New England. … Tight end A.J. Derby, claimed off waivers from Denver this week, will be inactive.
Inactive info: Along with Moore, Williams, Godchaux and Derby, the Dolphins inactives are cornerback Torry McTyer, G Isaac Asiata and G Jermon Bushrod, who is nursing a foot injury.
Opponent info: The list of Denver inactives includes four injured players — QB Paxton Lynch, G Ronald Leary, NT Domata Peko Sr. and DE Derek Wolfe — along with RB De'Angelo Henderson, OL Cyrus Kouandjio and WR Jordan Taylor. Four-time Pro Bowl cornerback Aqib Talib also will miss the game after being suspended by the NFL for his altercation with Oakland wide receiver Michael Crabtree last Sunday.
