Defensive tackle Davon Godchaux will be back in the lineup against the New England Patriots on Monday night.
The rookie from LSU was listed as questionable on the final injury report of the week Saturday.
Thomas in lineup: The other Dolphins player who was listed as questionable Saturday was safety Michael Thomas, and he also will be in uniform against New England.
Thomas will play despite not practicing all week because of a knee injury.
Tankersley out: Rookie cornerback Cordrea Tankersley will be inactive because of the ankle/shoulder injuries he sustained in the 35-9 victory against the Denver Broncos last Sunday.
Tankersley did not practice last week.
Third-year player Bobby McCain will start at cornerback in place of Tankersley.
Lineup notes: Quarterback David Fales will serve as the backup for the fourth time this season, the second with Jay Cutler as the starter. Fales backed up Matt Moore, who will sit out a second consecutive game because of a foot injury, against Baltimore and New England. … Tight end A.J. Derby, claimed off waivers from Denver a little less than two weeks ago, will be inactive for a second consecutive game. … Cornerback Torry McTyer will be back in the lineup after being inactive against Denver.
Inactive info: Along with Moore, Williams, Tankersley and Derby, the Dolphins inactives are defensive end Cameron Malveaux, and guards Isaac Asiata and Jermon Bushrod, who continues to nurse a foot injury.
