Ryan Fitzpatrick Nominated For FedEx Player Of The Week

For the third time this season, quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has been nominated for FedEx Air Player of the Week honors.

Fitzpatrick is one of three nominees along with two NFC quarterbacks, Daniel Jones of the New York Giants and Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints.

Fans can vote for their nominee of choice HERE. The winner will be announced later in the week.

Fitzpatrick passed for a season-high 419 yards and four touchdowns in the Dolphins' 38-35 overtime victory against the Cincinnati Bengals at Hard Rock Stadium. Fitzpatrick joined Dan Marino as the only quarterback in Dolphins history to pass for 400 yards and four touchdowns in a regular season game.

It was the sixth 400-yard passing performance of his 15-year NFL career.

Fitzpatrick also was nominated for his performance in the 26-18 victory against the New York Jets in Week 9 and for his performance in the 37-31 victory against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 13, though the awards ended up going to Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks and Mitchell Trubisky of the Chicago Bears, respectively.
