Achane at it again
Achane carried the ball 15 times for 81 yards and caught three passes for nine more. It marked his 13th game this season with 90-plus scrimmage yards, the most among running backs and the second most among all players in the NFL, trailing only Seattle WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
With his 81 yards on the ground, Achane has totaled 1,267 rushing yards this season, passing Delvin Williams in 1978 (1,258) for the fourth most in a single season in franchise history.
He found the end zone on a 48-yard run in the first quarter. The score marked his third rushing touchdown of 40-plus yards this season and the seventh of his career.
His seven rushing touchdowns of 40-plus yards are the second most in the NFL since Achane entered the league in 2023, trailing only Buffalo's James Cook. It marked the 35th touchdown of his career, becoming the first player in franchise history to score 35 touchdowns in his first three seasons in the NFL. His 35 scores are the most by a Miami Dolphin in a three-year span.
The Jaylen Waddle 5K
Jaylen Waddle totaled five receptions for 72 yards. In doing so, Waddle became the sixth player in franchise history to surpass 5,000 receiving yards with the team.
Waddle has 910 receiving yards this season, surpassing 900 yards in a season for the fourth time in his career. His four seasons with 900-plus receiving yards are tied with Mark Duper for the second most in franchise history and trail only Mark Clayton who had six such seasons.

Quarterback Quinn Ewers made his starting debut Sunday for the Dolphins. He completed 20-of-30 passes for 264 yards and two interceptions. His 260 passing yards were the second most by a Dolphins rookie quarterback in their first career start, behind only Dan Marino's 322 passing yards in his first start vs. Buffalo on October 9, 1983. His 260 passing yards were the most by any rookie quarterback in their first NFL start this season.
