Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane has been named to the AFC roster for the 2026 Pro Bowl Games, the NFL announced Tuesday.
Achane is a first-time Pro Bowl selection in his third NFL season. He is the ninth running back selected to the Pro Bowl in Dolphins history and the third in the last 10 years, joining Raheem Mostert (2023), Jay Ajayi (2016), Ronnie Brown (2008), Ricky Williams (2002), Andra Franklin (1982), Delvin Williams (1978), Mercury Morris (1971-73) and Larry Csonka (1970-74).
Achane leads the league in rushing average (5.8) and ranks third in rushing yards (1,267) entering Week 17. He became the Dolphins' 12th 1,000-yard rusher and the fourth to do so in the first 12 games of a season. He is also among the top running backs in receiving production this year, ranking fourth in receiving yards (459) and receptions (64), while tying for fourth in receiving touchdowns (four). His 1,726 yards from scrimmage are ranked fifth in the league this year.
Achane has recorded 2,974 rushing yards on 526 attempts and 22 touchdowns in his career, along with 169 receptions for 1,248 yards and 13 receiving scores. He became the first Dolphins player ever to total 2,000-plus rushing yards and 1,000-plus receiving yards in his first three NFL seasons. His 2,974 career rushing yards are the eighth most in Dolphins history and the most by a Dolphins player in the first three years of his career.
An additional four Dolphins were named alternates this year: linebacker Jordyn Brooks (first), fullback Alec Ingold (first), safety Minkah Fitzpatrick (third) and wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (third).
For the first time, the 2026 Pro Bowl Games will move to Super Bowl LX Week in the San Francisco Bay Area. The event brings the league's top players together for an AFC vs. NFC flag football showdown, which will preview the elite athleticism and competition of the sport ahead of its LA28 Olympics debut.
The televised event will air live from San Francisco's Moscone Center South Building on Tuesday, Feb. 3. Coverage of the Pro Bowl Games will begin on ESPN starting at 6:30 p.m. ET with the flag game at 8 p.m. ET. The game will air on ESPN, Disney XD and ESPN Deportes.
