The Miami Dolphins announced today they have signed cornerback A.J. Green off the Los Angeles Rams' practice squad and placed cornerback JuJu Brents on the injured reserve list.
Brents has appeared in 18 games with 11 starts in three seasons with Indianapolis (2023-24) and Miami (2025), recording 60 tackles (41 solo), one interception, seven passes defensed, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries, along with four special teams tackles. He entered the NFL as a second-round selection (44th overall) by Indianapolis in the 2023 NFL Draft. He finished his collegiate career at Kansas State (2021-22), where he appeared 27 games and recorded 94 tackles (69 solo), five interceptions, 11 passes defensed and one fumble recovery in two seasons with the Wildcats. He transferred to Kansas State from Iowa following the 2020 season.
Green has appeared in 36 career games with two starts in five seasons with Cleveland (2020-23) and the Los Angeles Rams (2025), recording 26 tackles (20 solo), two interceptions, seven passes defensed and two fumble recoveries, along with 14 special teams tackles. He also appeared in one postseason game with Cleveland in 2020. Green entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Cleveland in 2020 after a collegiate career at Oklahoma State (2016-19), where he appeared in 48 games with 39 starts and recorded 147 tackles (119 solo), six interceptions with one returned for a touchdown, 27 passes defensed and two forced fumbles.
