On March 5, the Miami‑Dade community came together to Celebrate the 305 with Verizon in true Miami style. Starting early in the morning and extending through the evening, the Miami Dolphins surprised fans at iconic local destinations with complimentary Miami‑favorite bites and beverages to highlight the connection between the team and the 305.
Mascot TD played a lead role in the day's festivities, of course. He joined the team at Vicky Bakery to brew up café con leche, served croquetas with the staff at Islas Canarias, helped prepare Cuban sandwiches at Sanguich, and even took time to visit with members of the local fire department.
The festivities wrapped at The Bar in Coral Gables, where guests enjoyed a special Happy Hour from 5–8 PM featuring an exclusive aqua margarita, photo opportunities and live entertainment. It was a great close to a day dedicated to the unique Miami culture, and the team is already looking forward to next year.
