 Dolphins Make Roster Moves

The Miami Dolphins announced today that they have been awarded defensive tackle Matthew Butler off waivers from Las Vegas and have waived defensive tackle Tre'vonn Rybka.

Butler has appeared in 15 career games with one start in three seasons with Las Vegas (2022-24), recording 15 tackles (five solo), and a 0.5 sack. He entered the NFL as a fifth-round selection (175th overall) by Las Vegas in the 2022 NFL Draft. Butler played collegiately at Tennessee (2017-21), where he appeared in 53 games with 26 starts and recorded 152 tackles (69 solo), 9.5 sacks, three passes defensed and two forced fumbles.

Rybka signed with Miami on May 9, 2025, as an undrafted college free agent. He was a four-year letterman at Kentucky (2021-24), where he appeared in 48 career games with 25 starts. He totaled 95 tackles (41 solo), 5.0 sacks, 11.5 tackles for loss, one pass defensed and one forced fumble during his time with the Wildcats.
