The Miami Dolphins announced today that they have released cornerback Cornell Armstrong, linebacker Quinton Bell, running back Mike Boone, tight end Pharaoh Brown, tackle Jackson Carman, cornerback Cameron Dantzler Sr., defensive tackle Matt Dickerson, cornerback Mike Hilton, tight end Chris Myarick and cornerback Kendall Sheffield.
The team also waived cornerback BJ Adams, wide receiver Andrew Armstrong, offensive lineman Mason Brooks, offensive lineman Braeden Daniels, wide receiver Erik Ezukanma, tackle Ryan Hayes, wide receiver AJ Henning, defensive tackle Alex Huntley, linebacker Dequan Jackson, linebacker Mohamed Kamara, offensive lineman Jalen McKenzie, linebacker Derrick McLendon, safety Patrick McMorris, linebacker Grayson Murphy, offensive lineman Josh Priebe, cornerback Ethan Robinson, tight end Hayden Rucci, safety John Saunders Jr., running back Aaron Shampklin, defensive tackle Ben Stille, linebacker Channing Tindall, wide receiver Theo Wease Jr. and offensive lineman Addison West; waived/injured tackle Bayron Matos, and waived/injury settlement linebacker Eugene Asante.
Additionally, the Dolphins moved offensive lineman Liam Eichenberg to the reserve/physically unable to perform list and placed offensive lineman Andrew Meyer and kicker Jason Sanders on the injured reserve list. The team listed Meyer and Sanders as designated for return.
Adams signed with Miami as an undrafted college free agent on May 9, 2025, and spent the offseason program and training camp with the Dolphins. He appeared in 48 games with 29 starts in four seasons at Central Florida (2021-24), where he totaled 88 career tackles (69 solo), two interceptions with one returned for a touchdown, 4.0 tackles for loss and 13 passes defensed in four seasons with the Knights.
Andrew Armstrong signed with Miami as an undrafted college free agent on May 9, 2025, and spent the offseason program and training camp with the Dolphins. He started 23 games in two seasons at Arkansas (2023-24), where he recorded 134 receptions for 1,904 yards (14.2 avg.) and six touchdowns. In 2024, he led the SEC in receptions (78), receiving yards (1,140) and receiving yards per game (103.6), earning him first-team All-SEC honors. Prior to Arkansas, Armstrong spent two seasons at Texas A&M Commerce (2021-22), where he appeared in 21 games with 14 starts and hauled in 77 receptions for 1,317 yards (17.1 avg.) and 16 touchdowns.
Cornell Armstrong signed with Miami on July 24, 2025, and spent training camp with the Dolphins. He has appeared in 40 career games with four starts in four seasons with Miami (2018), Houston (2019-20) and Atlanta (2022), totaling 43 tackles (31 solo) and seven passes defensed. He also spent time on the practice squad with Atlanta (2021) and Las Vegas (2023-24). Armstrong entered the NFL as a sixth-round selection (209th overall) by Miami in the 2018 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at Southern Miss (2014-17), where he appeared in 47 games with 40 starts and totaled 146 career tackles (108 solo), five interceptions and 34 passes defensed.
Asante signed with Miami as an undrafted college free agent on May 9, 2025, and spent the offseason program and training camp with the Dolphins. He spent the last three seasons of his collegiate career at Auburn (2022-24), where he played in 29 games with 21 starts and recorded 134 tackles (85 solo), 7.5 sacks, 13.0 tackles for loss and two passes defensed. Prior to Auburn, Asante played 37 games with four starts in three seasons at North Carolina (2019-21), where he totaled 62 tackles (35 solo), 1.0 tackle for loss, one pass defensed and one forced fumble.
Bell has played in 27 career games with three starts in four seasons with Tampa Bay (2020), Atlanta (2022) and Miami (2023-24). He has recorded 26 tackles (15 solo), 1.0 sack, one pass defensed and one forced fumble in his career, in addition to four special teams tackles. He originally entered the NFL as a seventh-round selection (230th overall) by Oakland in the 2019 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at Prairie View A&M.
Boone signed with Miami as a free agent on Aug. 11, 2025, and spent part of training camp with the team. He has appeared in 72 career games with two starts in seven seasons with Minnesota (2018-20), Denver (2021-22), Houston (2023) and Carolina (2024). Boone has recorded 117 carries for 590 yards (5.0 avg.) and four touchdowns, in addition to 26 receptions for 184 yards (7.1 avg.). He also appeared in two postseason games with the Vikings in 2019. He entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Minnesota in 2018. Boone played collegiately at Cincinnati (2014-17), where he appeared in 39 career games with 11 starts and recorded 420 carries for 2,250 yards (5.4 avg.) and 24 touchdowns, in addition to 65 receptions for 596 yards (9.2 avg.) and one touchdown.
Brooks signed with Miami as a free agent on Aug. 18, 2025, and spent part of training camp with the team. He entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Washington in 2023 and has spent time on the practice squad with the Commanders (2023-24) and Indianapolis (2024). He also played with the DC Defenders of the United Football League in 2025. Brooks finished his collegiate career at Ole Miss (2022), where he appeared in 13 games. Prior to Ole Miss, he was a four-year letterwinner at Western Kentucky (2018-21), where he appeared in 42 career games with 23 starts as a tackle and earned first-team All-Conference USA honors in 2021.
Brown signed with Miami as an unrestricted free agent on March 17, 2025, and spent the offseason program and training camp with the Dolphins. He has appeared in 87 career games with 54 starts in seven seasons with Oakland (2017), Cleveland (2019, 2022), Houston (2020-22), New England (2023) and Seattle (2024), recording 72 receptions for 751 yards (10.4 avg.) and three touchdowns in his career. He also spent time on the practice squad with Cleveland in 2018. Brown entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Oakland in 2017. He played collegiately at Oregon (2012-16), where he appeared in 40 games and recorded 70 receptions for 1,011 yards (14.4 avg.) and 13 touchdowns.
Carman played in eight games with one start at right tackle in his first season with Miami in 2024 after being promoted from the practice squad. He has appeared in 30 career games with seven starts in four seasons with Cincinnati (2021-23) and Miami (2024). He also appeared in seven postseason games with two starts with the Bengals. Carman originally entered the NFL as a second-round selection (46th overall) by Cincinnati in the 2021 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at Clemson (2018-20), where he appeared in 40 career games with 27 starts during his three seasons with the Tigers.
Daniels signed with Miami on Jan. 1, 2025 and spent the offseason and training camp with the Dolphins. He entered the NFL as a fourth-round selection (118th overall) by Washington in the 2023 NFL Draft, where he spent the 2023 season on injured reserve. He also spent time on the practice squad with Houston, the L.A. Chargers, Philadelphia and Dallas in 2024. Daniels played collegiately at Utah where he appeared in 49 career games with 43 starts – 18 at left guard, 14 at left tackle and 11 at right tackle. He was a Pac-12 All-Conference first-team selection in 2022.
Dantzler Sr. signed with Miami on Aug. 19, 2025, and spent part of training camp with the team. He has appeared in 37 career games with 26 starts in four seasons with Minnesota (2020-22) and New Orleans (2023), recording 148 tackles (125 solo), three interceptions, 17 passes defensed, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He entered the NFL as a third-round selection (89th overall) by Minnesota in the 2020 NFL Draft. Dantzler Sr. played collegiately at Mississippi State (2016-19), where he appeared in 35 career games with 22 starts and recorded 108 tackles (78 solo), five interceptions, 18 passes defensed, 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery in four seasons with the Bulldogs.
Dickerson appeared in four games in his first season with Miami in 2024 after being promoted from the practice squad. He is a six-year veteran who has appeared in 40 career games with Tennessee (2018-20), Atlanta (2022), Kansas City (2023) and Miami (2024), recording 42 tackles (17 solo). He also spent time on the practice squad with Arizona in 2021. Dickerson entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Tennessee in 2018. He played collegiately at UCLA, where he appeared in 45 games and recorded 93 tackles (48 solo), 1.5 sacks and four passes defensed in four seasons with the Bruins (2014-17).
Eichenberg has spent four seasons with Miami (2021-24) and has appeared in 60 career games with 52 starts – 14 at left tackle, 11 at left guard, eight at center, 17 at right guard and two at right tackle. He also started at center in one postseason game with the Dolphins in 2023. Eichenberg entered the NFL as a second-round selection (42nd overall) by Miami in the 2021 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at Notre Dame (2017-20), where he appeared in 43 games with 38 starts.
Ezukanma has appeared in five career games, totaling one reception for three yards and five carries for 22 yards (4.4 avg.) in three seasons with Miami (2022-24). He entered the NFL as a fourth-round selection (125th overall) by the Dolphins in the 2022 NFL Draft. Ezukanma played collegiately at Texas Tech (2018-21), where he appeared in 35 games and totaled 138 receptions for 2,165 yards and 15 touchdowns in addition to 10 carries for 138 rushing yards and two touchdowns. He earned first-team All-Big 12 honors in 2020.
Hayes has appeared in one career game with Miami after being signed to the practice squad on Nov. 6, 2024. In 2023, Hayes spent most of the season on Miami's practice squad after spending the first two weeks of the regular season on Indianapolis' active roster. He entered the NFL as a seventh-round selection (238th overall) by Miami in the 2023 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at Michigan, where he was a three-year starter and a second-team All-Big Ten selection in 2021 and 2022, helping the Wolverines reach the College Football Playoff both years.
Henning signed with Miami as an undrafted college free agent on May 9, 2025, and spent the offseason program and training camp with the Dolphins. He spent his final two collegiate seasons at Northwestern (2023-24), where he played in 24 games with 19 starts and recorded 104 receptions for 1,021 yards (9.8 avg.) and eight touchdowns. He added 118 rushing yards on 32 attempts (3.7 avg.) and one touchdown, along with 15 kickoff returns for 330 yards (22.0 avg.) and 22 punt returns for 205 yards (9.3 avg.). Henning transferred from Michigan following the 2022 season after playing in 33 games with three starts in three seasons with the Wolverines (2020-22). He recorded 25 receptions for 198 yards (7.9 avg.), along with 15 carries for 186 rushing yards (12.4 avg.) and two touchdowns, 17 kickoff returns for 420 yards (24.7 avg.) and one touchdown and 57 punt returns for 475 yards (8.3 avg.) and one touchdown during his time with the Wolverines. Henning was a two-time All-Big Ten selection as a returner (2021, 2022) and a two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree (2021, 2022).
Hilton signed with Miami as free agent on July 28, 2025, and spent training camp with the Dolphins. He has appeared in 123 career games with 56 starts in eight seasons with Pittsburgh (2017-20) and Cincinnatti (2021-24), recording 506 tackles (386 solo), 11.5 sacks, 13 interceptions with one returned for a touchdown, 56 passes defensed, four forced fumbles and six fumble recoveries. He has also appeared in nine postseason games with four starts. Hilton entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent in 2016 with Jacksonville. He played collegiately at Ole Miss (2012-15), where he appeared in 49 games with 39 starts in four seasons with the Rebels.
Huntley signed with Miami as an undrafted college free agent on May 9, 2025, and spent the offseason program and training camp with the Dolphins. He played in 50 games with 19 starts in five seasons at South Carolina (2020-24), where he totaled 82 tackles (46 solo), 4.0 sacks, 8.0 tackles for loss and six passes defensed. He was named a permanent team captain in 2023 and 2024. Huntley was a five-time SEC Academic Honor Roll selection (2020-24) and earned Freshman All-SEC honors in 2021.
Jackson spent the 2024 season on Miami's practice squad after signing with the team on Aug. 19, 2024. He entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent in 2023 with Jacksonville, where he spent the season on the practice squad. Jackson played collegiately at Colorado State (2018-2022), where he appeared in 46 games and recorded 307 tackles (121 solo), 2.5 sacks, one pass defensed, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
Kamara has appeared in five career games in one season with Miami (2024), recording one tackle. He entered the NFL as a fifth-round (158th overall) selection by Miami in the 2024 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at Colorado State (2019-23), where he earned All-Mountain West honors and was named Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year as a graduate student in 2023. He played in 49 career games with 33 starts and recorded 179 tackles (93 solo), 30.5 sacks, two passes defensed, five forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
Matos signed with Miami as a part of the NFL's International Player Pathway Program on May 10, 2024, and spent the season on the practice squad. He played collegiately at South Florida, where he appeared in two games in 2022, mostly seeing the field for special teams and defensive line snaps. Matos was also on the basketball team at South Florida that same year, playing in 28 games with four starts and averaging 1.5 points per game with 2.7 rebounds. He transferred from New Mexico, where he spent two seasons (2020-21) on the Lobos basketball team and scored in the double figures three times. He played in 20 games with 15 starts, averaging 6.0 points per game and 4.1 rebounds per game.
McKenzie signed with Miami on July 30, 2025, and spent part of training camp with the Dolphins. He entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Tennessee in 2022 and spent part of the offseason program and training camp with the team. He has spent time on the practice squad with Seattle (2022), Las Vegas (2023), New England (2024) and the New York Giants (2024). McKenzie played collegiately at Southern California (2017-21), where he appeared in 42 career games with 19 starts in five seasons with the Trojans.
McLendon joined Miami's practice squad on Sept. 3, 2024. He entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Carolina on May 10, 2024, and spent the offseason program and training camp with the Panthers. McLendon finished his collegiate career at Colorado, where he appeared in 12 games and recorded 14 tackles (10 solo), 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble and four fumble recoveries in 2023. He transferred to Colorado from Florida State where he played in 38 games in four seasons (2019-22) and recorded 61 tackles (19 solo), 7.0 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
McMorris has appeared in six games in one season with Miami (2024), recoding one solo tackle. He entered the NFL as a sixth-round selection (198th overall) by Miami in the 2024 NFL Draft. He played his final collegiate season at California (2023), where he started all 13 games and recorded 90 tackles (50 solo), 1.0 sack, one interception, eight passes defensed, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries and was named All-Pac 12 honorable mention. McMorris transferred from San Diego State, where he played four seasons (2019-22). He earned first-team All-Mountain West honors in 2021 and 2022.
Meyer entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Miami on May 10, 2024. He played collegiately at UTEP (2018-23), where he appeared in 54 games with 43 starts at center and was an honorable mention All-Conference USA selection in 2020 and 2022.
Murphy signed with Miami as an undrafted college free agent on May 10, 2024, and missed the season on the injured reserve list. He spent the final two years of his collegiate career at UCLA (2022-23), earning third-team All-Pac 12 honors in 2022 and was an honorable mention All-Pac 12 recipient in 2023. He appeared in 26 games with 14 starts and recorded 58 tackles (40 solo), 10.0 sacks, two passes defensed and two forced fumbles with the Bruins. Prior to UCLA, Murphy played three seasons at North Texas (2019-21) where he posted 57 tackles (25 solo), 11.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery during his time with the Mean Green.
Myarick signed with Miami on Aug. 4, 2024, and spent part of training camp with the team. He has appeared in 27 games with 11 starts with Miami (2020) and the N.Y. Giants (2021-22) and has totaled 10 receptions for 82 yards (8.2 avg.) and two touchdowns. He's spent time on the practice squad with Miami (2019-20), Cincinnati (2021) and Houston (2024). Myarick first entered the league as an undrafted college free agent with Miami on May 9, 2019. He also signed a futures contract with the Dolphins on January 5, 2021 and spent the 2021 offseason with the team. Myarick played collegiately at Temple (2015-18), where he appeared in 43 games with 25 starts and totaled 23 receptions for 229 yards (9.9 avg.) and one touchdown.
Priebe signed with Miami as an undrafted college free agent on May 9, 2025, and spent the offseason program and training camp with the Dolphins. He played his final collegiate season at Michigan (2024), where he started all 13 games at left guard. During his lone season with the Wolverines in 2024, Priebe was an All-Big Ten selection, an Academic All-Big Ten honoree and a finalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy, presented to the college football player with the best combination of academics, leadership and on-field performance. Prior to Michigan, Priebe was four-year letterman at Northwestern (2020-23), where he appeared in 36 games with 29 starts along the interior offensive line, primarily at left guard. Priebe was named a team captain and earned All-Big Ten honors in 2023. He was also a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection (2021, 2022, 2023).
Robinson signed with Miami as an undrafted college free agent on May 9, 2025, and spent the offseason program and training camp with the Dolphins. He finished his college career at Minnesota (2024), where he started 13 games and recorded 42 tackles (29 solo), 3.0 tackles for loss, three interceptions, 11 passes defensed, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery, earning him All-Big Ten honorable mention. Prior to Minnesota, he spent three seasons at Bucknell (2021-23), appearing in 31 games with 26 starts and recording 154 tackles (124 solo), 1.0 sack, 6.5 tackles for loss, five interceptions, 25 passes defensed and two forced fumbles.
Rucci entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with the Dolphins on May 10, 2024, and had multiple stints on the practice squad. He played collegiately at Wisconsin, where he appeared in 36 games with 18 starts during four seasons (2020-23). He caught 17 passes for 200 yards (11.8 avg.) and one touchdown for the Badgers and was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection in 2020, 2021 and 2023.
Sanders has appeared 116 consecutive games in seven seasons with Miami (2018-24), converting 187-of-221 field goal attempts (84.6 pct.), including 37-of-68 from 50-plus yards (68.8 pct.), and 259-of-268 extra points (96.6 pct.). His 84.6 field goal percentage is the best in franchise history, and he holds the record for most consecutive field goals made by a Dolphins kicker with 27. He has also appeared in two postseason contests with Miami in 2022 and 2023. Sanders entered the NFL as a seventh-round pick (229th overall) by Miami in the 2018 NFL Draft after a collegiate career at New Mexico.
Saunders Jr. signed with Miami as an undrafted college free agent on May 9, 2025, and spent the offseason program and training camp with the Dolphins. He played his final two collegiate season at Ole Miss (2023-24), where he started in 26 games and recorded 102 tackles (58 solo), 3.5 tackles for loss, six interceptions, 14 passes defensed and three forced fumbles. He transferred to Ole Miss following the 2022 campaign after three seasons at Miami (OH) (2020-22). Saunders Jr. appeared in 23 games with 15 starts with the Redhawks, recording 67 tackles (45 solo), five interceptions, 20 passes defensed and one forced fumble.
Shampklin signed with Miami on Aug. 11, 2025, and spent part of training camp with the team. He has appeared in three career games in one season with Pittsburgh (2024), recording six carries for 17 yards (2.8 avg.), in addition to four kickoff returns for 101 yards (25.3 avg.). He also spent time on the practice squad with Indianapolis (2022). Shampklin entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Dallas in 2022. He played collegiately at Harvard (2017-21), where he appeared in 29 games with 19 starts and recorded 2,251 rushing yards on 402 carries (5.6 avg.) with 23 touchdowns, along with 29 receptions for 296 yards (10.2 avg.) and three touchdowns.
Sheffield signed with Miami on May 12, 2024, and spent part of the offseason program and training camp with the Dolphins. He has appeared in 49 career games with 20 starts with Atlanta (2019-21), San Francisco (2023), Tennessee (2023) and the New York Jets (2024). He has totaled 108 tackles (77 solo), six passes defensed and two forced fumbles in his career, along with six special teams tackles (four solo). Sheffield also spent time on the practice squad with Dallas in 2022. He entered the NFL as a fourth-round selection (111th overall) by Atlanta in the 2019 NFL Draft. Sheffield played the last two seasons of his collegiate career at Ohio State (2017-18), where he appeared in 28 games with 17 starts and recorded 75 tackles (58 solo), two interceptions, 19 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. He transferred from Blinn College, in Brenham, Texas, following the 2016 season.
Stille signed with Miami on June 5, 2025, and spent part of the offseason program and training camp with the Dolphins. He has appeared in 18 career games with one start in three seasons with Miami (2022), Cleveland (2022), Arizona (2023-24) and Tampa Bay (2024). He has totaled 17 tackles (seven solo), 2.0 sacks, one pass defensed and one fumble recovery in his career. Stille entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Miami in 2022 and spent part of the season on the practice squad. He played collegiately at Nebraska (2017-21) where he was a five-year letterman and a three-year starter. Stille appeared in 53 career games with 34 starts and totaled 146 tackles (70 solo), 14.5 sacks, seven passes defensed and one forced fumble in five seasons with the Cornhuskers.
Tindall has appeared in 44 career games in four seasons with Miami (2022-24), recording six defensive stops (two solo) and 10 special teams tackles (six solo). He has also appeared in two postseason contests with the Dolphins in 2022 and 2023. Tindall entered the NFL as third-round selection (102nd overall) by Miami in the 2022 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at Georgia, where he was a four-year letterman (2018-21). Tindall played in 50 collegiate games, totaling 108 tackles (54 solo), 12.0 sacks and one forced fumble. As a senior in 2021, he earned second-team All-SEC honors with 67 tackles for the national champion Bulldogs.
Wease Jr. signed with Miami as an undrafted college free agent on May 9, 2025, and spent the offseason program and training camp with the Dolphins. He spent his final two collegiate seasons at Missouri (2023-24), where he started 26 games and totaled 109 receptions for 1,566 yards (14.4 avg.) and 10 touchdowns. He was named a team captain in 2024 and was a two-time SEC Academic Honor Roll recipient (2023, 2024) during his time with the Tigers. Prior to Missouri, he spent four seasons at Oklahoma (2019-22), where he appeared in 36 games with 17 starts and registered 64 receptions for 1,044 yards (16.3 avg.) and 10 touchdowns.
West signed with Miami as an undrafted college free agent on May 9, 2025, and spent the offseason program and training camp with the Dolphins. He appeared in 48 career games with 36 starts in six seasons at Western Michigan, where he became the first player in program history to be named a consensus first-team All-American after earning the honors from the Football Writers Association of America, the Associated Press and the American Football Coaches Association in 2024. He was also a first team all-conference selection in 2024 and a four-time Academic All-MAC honoree (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024).
