Dolphins Make Roster Moves

The Miami Dolphins announced today they have elevated linebacker Quinton Bell and cornerback Isaiah Johnson to the active roster for Sunday's game.

Bell has played in 27 career games with three starts in four seasons with Tampa Bay (2020), Atlanta (2022) and Miami (2023-24). He has recorded 26 tackles (15 solo), 1.0 sack, one pass defensed and one forced fumble in his career, in addition to four special teams tackles. Bell was originally signed to Miami's practice squad in 2023 and spent the 2024 season on the active roster, appearing in all 17 games with three starts and recording 23 tackles (13 solo), 1.0 sack, one pass defensed and one forced fumble. He entered the NFL as a seventh-round selection (230th overall) by Oakland in the 2019 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at Prairie View A&M.

Johnson entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Miami in 2024 and spent the season on the practice squad. He played his final two collegiate seasons at Syracuse (2022-23), where he appeared in 25 games with 19 starts and totaled 115 tackles (74 solo), two interceptions, nine passes defensed and one forced fumble. He began his career at Dartmouth (2018-21), where he earned first-team All-Ivy League honors in 2021 after registering 55 tackles (38 solo), one interception returned for a touchdown and seven passes defensed.
