The Miami Dolphins announced today that they have activated offensive lineman Andrew Meyer off the injured reserve list and signed wide receiver Theo Wease Jr. to the active roster off the practice squad. The team also placed wide receiver Dee Eskridge, cornerback Isaiah Johnson and defensive tackle Benito Jones on the injured reserve list.
Additionally, the Dolphins elevated linebacker Derrick McLendon and offensive lineman Josh Priebe to the active roster for Sunday's game.
Eskridge has appeared in 43 career games in five seasons with Seattle (2021-23) and Miami (2024-25). He has recorded 24 receptions for 228 yards (9.5 avg.) and one touchdown, while contributing 1,300 yards on 50 kickoff returns (26.0 avg.). Eskridge entered the NFL as a second-round selection (56th overall) by Seattle in the 2021 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at Western Michigan (2016-20), where he appeared in 45 games and recorded 122 receptions for 2,260 yards (18.5 avg.) and 15 touchdowns in five seasons.
Johnson has appeared in four career games with Miami (2025), recording three special teams tackles. He entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Miami in 2024 and spent the season on the practice squad. He played his final two collegiate seasons at Syracuse (2022-23), where he appeared in 25 games with 19 starts and totaled 115 tackles (74 solo), two interceptions, nine passes defensed and one forced fumble. He began his career at Dartmouth (2018-21), where he earned first-team All-Ivy League honors in 2021 after registering 55 tackles (38 solo), one interception returned for a touchdown and seven passes defensed.
Jones has appeared in 71 career games with 38 starts in five seasons with Miami (2020, 2024-25) and Detroit (2022-23), recording 83 tackles (37 solo), 3.5 sacks and three passes defensed. He has also played in three playoff games, recording one solo stop. Jones entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Miami in 2020. He played collegiately at Mississippi (2016-19), where he played in 48 games with 36 starts and recorded 132 tackles (66 solo), 10.5 sacks, one interception, one pass defensed, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
McLendon entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Carolina in 2024 and spent the offseason program and training camp with the Panthers before joining Miami's practice squad. He finished his collegiate career at Colorado (2023), where he appeared in 12 games and recorded 14 tackles (10 solo), 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble and four fumble recoveries. He transferred to Colorado from Florida State (2019-22) where he played in 38 games in four seasons and recorded 61 tackles (19 solo), 7.0 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
Meyer entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Miami in 2024. He played collegiately at UTEP (2018-23), where he appeared in 54 games with 43 starts at center and was an honorable mention All-Conference USA selection in 2020 and 2022.
Priebe entered the league as an undrafted college free agent with Miami in 2025 and has spent the season on the practice squad. He played his final collegiate season at Michigan (2024), where he started all 13 games at left guard and was an All-Big Ten selection. Prior to Michigan, Priebe was four-year letterman at Northwestern (2020-23), where he appeared in 36 games with 29 starts along the interior offensive line, primarily at left guard. Priebe was named a team captain and earned All-Big Ten honors in 2023.
Wease Jr. has appeared in one career game, making his NFL debut in Miami's Week 16 matchup against Cincinnati and recording two receptions for 32 yards (16.0 avg.). He entered the league as an undrafted college free agent with Miami in 2025 and has spent the season on the practice squad. He spent his final two collegiate seasons at Missouri (2023-24), where he started 26 games and totaled 109 receptions for 1,566 yards (14.4 avg.) and 10 touchdowns. He was named a team captain in 2024. Prior to Missouri, he spent four seasons at Oklahoma (2019-22), where he appeared in 36 games with 17 starts and registered 64 receptions for 1,044 yards (16.3 avg.) and 10 touchdowns.
