Dolphins make trade with Philadelphia

The Miami Dolphins announced today that they have agreed to terms on a trade with Philadelphia to acquire a 2026 third-round selection in exchange for linebacker Jaelan Phillips, pending a physical.

Phillips has played in 55 career games with 38 starts during five seasons (2021-25) with Miami, totaling 177 tackles (105 solo), 26.0 sacks, one interception, seven passes defensed, one forced fumble and four fumble recoveries. He entered the league as a first-round selection (18th overall) by the Dolphins in the 2021 NFL Draft. Phillips finished his collegiate career at the University of Miami, where he started 10 games and totaled 45 tackles (21 solo), 8.0 sacks, 15.5 tackles for loss, four passes defensed and one interception in 2020 after transferring from UCLA.
