Dolphins sign Brown to futures contract

The Miami Dolphins announced today that they have signed safety Omar Brown to a reserve/future contract.

Brown has appeared in two career games in one season with Green Bay (2024). He entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Denver in 2024. Brown spent the last two years of his collegiate career at Nebraska (2022-23), where he appeared in 23 games with eight starts and recorded 56 tackles (36 solo), three tackles for loss, one interception, four passes defensed, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. Brown transferred to Nebraska after three seasons at Northern Iowa (2019-21), where he started 29 games and recorded 140 tackles (89 solo), eight interceptions, 21 passes defensed, one forced fumble and three fumble recoveries.
