Highlights and observations from the 13th training camp practice at the Baptist Health Training Facility at Nova Southeastern University:
- The Dolphins practiced in full pads Monday.
- Practice was moved inside the bubble at the Baptist Health Training Facility at Nova Southeastern University for approximately that last 45 minutes because of the weather conditions around the facility.
- Defensive tackle Jordan Phillips returned to practice after sitting out Sunday with a shoulder injury. He was limited to individual and position drills.
- Wide receiver DeVante Parker joined the list of injured players and sat out practice with a hand injury. He joined linebacker Mike Hull (knee), wide receiver Kenny Stills (ankle), defensive end William Hayes (hamstring) and offensive lineman Jake Brendel (calf) on the sidelines.
- Running back Frank Gore did not practice. He likely was given a veteran's day off.
- Assistant defensive line coach Andre Carter's young son joined the wide receivers in individual drills, and showed off some good hands catching passes from Clyde Christensen.

- The Dolphins did a 9-on-9 rushing drill, and it helped create one of the most physical practices of training camp.
- Rookie Greg Joseph handled the kicking duties Monday and was 5-for-7 on field goal attempts with a long of 44 yards.

- Cameron Wake dropped rookie Kalen Ballage in the backfield on a 9-on-9 running drill.
- Tempers flared during the running drill after a carry by rookie Buddy Howell.
- Cornerback Bobby McCain again lined up as the outside corner opposite Xavien Howard with the first-team defense and rookie third-round pick Jerome Baker again lined up with the starters at linebacker.

- First-round pick Minkah Fitzpatrick, lining up as the first slot corner, got to Ryan Tannehill for a potential sack.
- Cornerback Xavien Howard had an interception on a deep pass.

- Defensive end Charles Harris got to Tannehill from behind on a third-and-goal play after Tannehill rolled out to his right.
- Safety Walt Aikens had a nice pass breakup against rookie tight end Mike Gesicki in one-on-one coverage in the end zone.
