The Miami Dolphins announced today that they have signed cornerback Mike Hilton and waived running back Nate Noel.
Hilton has appeared in 123 career games with 56 starts in eight seasons with Pittsburgh (2017-20) and Cincinnatti (2021-24), recording 506 tackles (386 solo), 11.5 sacks, 13 interceptions with one returned for a touchdown, 56 passes defensed, four forced fumbles and six fumble recoveries. He has also appeared in nine postseason games with four starts. Hilton entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent in 2016 with Jacksonville. He played collegiately at Ole Miss (2012-15), where he appeared in 49 games with 39 starts in four seasons with the Rebels.
Noel signed with Miami as an undrafted college free agent on May 9, 2025. He played his final collegiate season at Missouri (2024), where he started 11 games and recorded 163 carries for 818 rushing yards (5.0 avg.) and three touchdowns. Prior to Missouri, he played in 44 games with 35 starts in four seasons at Appalachian State (2020-23). He rushed for 3,074 yards on 541 carries (5.7 avg.) with 18 touchdowns, while adding 50 receptions for 272 yards (5.4 avg.) during his time with the Mountaineers. He was named first-team All-Sun Belt in 2021 and earned All-Sun Belt honorable mention in 2022. A Miami native, Noel attended Miami Northwestern High School.
