Dolphins Make Roster Moves

The Miami Dolphins announced today that they have signed cornerback Rasul Douglas and waived safety Jordan Colbert.

Douglas has appeared in 120 career games with 80 starts in eight seasons with Philadelphia (2017-19), Carolina (2020), Green Bay (2021-23) and Buffalo (2023-24), recording 425 tackles (345 solo), 2.0 sacks, 19 interceptions with three returned for a touchdown, 79 passes defensed, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. He has also played in 11 postseason games with seven starts and won Super Bowl LII with the Eagles. Douglas entered the NFL as a third-round selection (99th overall) by Philadelphia in the 2017 NFL Draft after a collegiate career at West Virginia.

Colbert signed with Miami as an undrafted college free agent on May 10, 2024, and spent the season on the practice squad. He spent his final two collegiate seasons at Rhode Island (2022-23), where he appeared in 21 games with 11 starts and recorded 96 tackles (66 solo), a 0.5 sack, two interceptions, six passes defensed, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery for a touchdown. Colbert began his collegiate career at Columbia (2018-21) and earned third-team All-Ivy League honors in 2021.
