Dolphins Make Roster Moves

The Miami Dolphins announced today that they have signed tackle Kendall Lamm and placed cornerback Cam Smith on the reserve/non-football illness list.

Lamm has played in 119 career games with 44 starts in nine seasons with Houston (2015-18), Cleveland (2019-20), Tennessee (2021) and Miami (2022-24). He has also appeared in eight playoff games with one postseason start. He first joined the Dolphins' practice squad on Nov. 28, 2022, and was promoted to the active roster on Dec. 31, 2022. He has appeared in 33 games with 16 starts – eight at left tackle and eight at right tackle – with Miami. Lamm entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Houston in 2015. He played collegiately at Appalachian State (2011-14), where he appeared 43 games with 42 starts.

Smith has appeared in 21 career games in two seasons with the Dolphins (2023-24), recording 18 tackles (14 solo). He entered the NFL as a second-round (51st overall) selection by Miami in the 2023 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at South Carolina (2019-22), where he was a four-year letterman and a two-year starter. He played in 33 games with 19 starts for the Gamecocks and earned second-team All-SEC honors in 2021 and 2022. He led the team with 14 passes defensed in 2021. Smith intercepted six passes and had 24 passes defensed in his final three collegiate seasons (2020-22).
