The Miami Dolphins announced today that they have signed wide receiver Jalen Tolbert as an unrestricted free agent.
Tolbert has appeared in 55 career games with 30 starts in four seasons with Dallas (2022-25), recording 91 receptions for 1,093 yards (12.0 avg.) and 10 touchdowns, along with five kickoff returns for 105 yards (21.0 avg.). He also played in one postseason game with the Cowboys. Tolbert entered the NFL as a third-round selection (88th overall) by Dallas in the 2022 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at South Alabama (2017-21), where he appeared in 47 games with 34 starts and recorded 178 receptions for 3,140 yards (17.6 avg.) and 22 touchdowns. He was the 2021 Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year and a two-time all-conference selection (2020, 2021) during this time with the Jaguars.
