Dolphins sign Willis

The Miami Dolphins announced today that they have signed quarterback Malik Willis as an unrestricted free agent.

Willis is entering his fifth NFL season after spending time with Tennessee (2022-23) and Green Bay (2024-25). He has played in 22 career games with six starts, completing 105-of-155 passing attempts (67.7 pct.) for 1,322 yards, six touchdowns, three interceptions and a 98.9 passer rating, along with 74 carries for 405 rushing yards (5.5 avg.) and four touchdowns. Willis entered the NFL as a third-round selection (86th overall) by Tennessee in the 2022 NFL Draft. He finished his collegiate career at Liberty (2019-21), where he started in 23 games and completed 377-of-604 passing attempts (62.4 pct) for 5,117 yards and 47 touchdowns with 18 interceptions, along with 338 rushing attempts for 1,822 yards (5.4 avg.) and 27 touchdowns. He transferred to Liberty from Auburn following the 2018 season.
