The Miami Dolphins announced they have signed wide receiver Mike Harley Jr. and waived offensive lineman Chasen Hines.
Harley Jr. entered the NFL in 2022 as an undrafted college free agent with Cleveland. He spent the 2022 season on Cleveland's practice squad and participated in two training camps with the Browns (2022, 2023). He played collegiately at the University of Miami, appearing in 60 career games in five seasons (2017-21). Harley Jr. recorded 182 receptions for 2,158 yards and 15 touchdowns during his time in Coral Gables.
Hines signed with Miami on Aug. 31, 2023 and spent the season on the Dolphins' practice squad. He was elevated once but did not appear in a game. Hines was a sixth-round pick (210th overall) by New England in the 2022 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at LSU, where he appeared in 35 games with 17 starts. Hines was a member of LSU's 2019 national championship team.
