• Sponsored the Tribe Games for each of the past 5 years in his hometown of Kingsport, Tenn., which is a series of athletic competitions for special needs kids.
• Coached youth football on the weekends while in San Francisco.

• Served as a student-teacher at Hardin Park Elementary School in Boone, N.C. working with special-education students in adaptive physical education classes.
